Population Health: How Labs Play an Integral Role in Supporting Better Care

Aug 18 1PM ET

New healthcare payment models emphasize care management in large patient populations, the quality of service, patient satisfaction, and demonstrating the value of offered services. Laboratory medicine plays a critical role in providing high quality patient care, generating data that can be used to measure the value of care and such services, including laboratory diagnostics. Pathologists and laboratory administrators need to understand how to use data to communicate the value of laboratory services to the C-suite, payers, patients, and providers.

During this webinar, speaker Dr. Myra Wilkerson will discuss the role that laboratory professionals can play in population health by developing value-based payment models and pursuing value-based care.

Dr. Wilkerson’s remarks will be followed by a Q and A session to achieve a finer focus on these key issues.
