Sunquest Information Systems, Inc. and our wholly-owned subsidiaries ("Sunquest") are dedicated to safeguarding the personal and private information belonging to you or under your care.

This Sunquest Privacy Policy ("Policy") will explain how we collect, use, safeguard and share your personal information or any personal information of a patient with which you provide us access, as well as your choices regarding such use. This policy applies to your use of the Sunquest internet website, www.sunquestinfo.com  ("Website") as well as to your use of Sunquest's products and services ("Services"). As referenced in this policy, the term "Information" means any information that can be used to identify a natural person, but will not include information that is encoded or anonymized, or publicly available information that has not been combined with non-public information.

Information we collect from you
If you are a visitor to the Website, you are not obligated to provide any Information about yourself, nor do we collect Information unless you specifically provide it. Should you choose to request additional information about our Services or register to participate in educational sessions, you will be asked to provide us with Information of a business nature that may include your name, e-mail address, telephone number, etc. As a result of that request, we will deposit a Cookie strictly for the purpose of auto-populating user identification and password information when you revisit the Website. You may elect to set your browser to refuse cookies, though in doing so the auto-population feature will be disabled in future visits. Cookies are not used to collect Information and you are not required to accept a Cookie to use the Website or participate in registered activities under the Website. For your convenience, we may provide links within the Website to third party websites, though this policy does not cover any interactions you may have with the third parties. Any information you may wish to share with such third parties will be subject to the third parties' applicable privacy policies. When you become a Sunquest client, Information of a business nature will be collected from you to enable us to provide you with Services, including application support, system implementation and consultation, and associated administrative support functions. The type of Information collected will include business-relevant data such as your name, title, street address, e-mail address, etc. As a Sunquest client, you will additionally have the opportunity to participate in public forums within the Sunquest website such as bulletin boards, chat rooms, blogs or product discussion forums. In participating in such public forums, any Personal Information or other information that you voluntarily submit within such forum may be seen by parties other than Sunquest and such third parties may use your Information to contact you for purposes unrelated to your posting. Any Information submitted in such a forum is not within the control of Sunquest and is not subject to this Privacy Policy.

Our use of your Information
In providing Services to you, it may be necessary that you provide us with access to your patients' sensitive personal information that is stored within your computer systems. In doing so, we rely on your notification to your patients regarding the type of sensitive personal information collected and used, the purposes for which you collect and use their sensitive personal information, the third parties to whom you may disclose their sensitive personal information and their choices and means to limit use of their sensitive personal information. For our European Union clients, this means that we act as data processor and you act as data controller. In the limited situations where Sunquest collects your Information directly (i.e., Information of a business nature collected as a result of your relationship with us as a client), we will limit the use of Information to that which is necessary for our provision of Services to you and that are compatible with the purposes for which you originally provided us such information or for which you subsequently approve. When specifically acting as data controller, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that Information is pertinent to its intended use, accurate, complete, and current. When in possession of any Information (including sensitive personal information), we act in accordance with all laws and regulations applicable to us in the countries in which we do business (i.e., Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Data Protection Act of 1998, etc.).

When we share Information with third parties

In such case, we will obtain assurances from our third party partner to safeguard Information in conformance with this Policy and any other relevant law or regulation. Correcting and updating your Information
Where we are in control of Information, we allow you reasonable access to your Information, and we will take reasonable steps topermit you to correct, amend, and/or delete Information that is demonstrated to be inaccurate, except where the rights of other persons would be violated.

Our handling of children's Information
Sunquest's products are not designed for use by children and as such, the Website is not designed to appeal to children under theage of 13. Though we do not knowingly collect or maintain Information from children under the age of 13, in the event that we discover such Information under our control, we will make every effort to delete the Information as soon as reasonably possible.

How we enforce our Policy
We train our employees on the proper handling of your Information and we conduct audits of our relevant privacy practices toensure our employees' adherence to this Policy. Any Sunquest employee found to be in violation of this Policy will be subject to disciplinary action as determined by Sunquest, up to and including termination of employment.

Changes to the Policy
Sunquest may update this Policy from time to time by posting the then-current Policy to the Website. Any such updates will be consistent with the laws and regulations in the countries in which we do business. Your use of the Website or the Services constitutes your agreement to the Policy in effect at such time.
